'Mortdecai' Movie Release Date Comes In A Few Weeks; [VIDEO] Watch Released Trailer; Johnny Depp And Gwyneth Paltrow Kiss And Gag

Johnny Depp welcomes 2015 with his brand new action comedy film "Mortdecai" with "Iron Man" star Gwyneth Paltrow in tow come January release date.

"Into the Wood's" wolf Johnny Depp will be appearing on screen for the first time with Tony Stark's business and romantic partner Pepper Potts, portrayed by Academy Award winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow.

Johnny Depp will portray the lead character Charlie Mortdecai, who is out to save the world as he attempts to recover stolen art that is said to also contain information to uncover bank details containing the hidden Nazi gold.

According to Coming Soon, "Mortdecai" reads: "Armed only with his good looks and special charm, debonair art dealer Charlie Mortdecai (Johnny Depp) traverses the globe searching for a stolen painting said to contain the code to a lost bank account filled with Nazi gold." The film "Mortdecai" is based on "The Mortdecai Trilogy" by Kyril Bonfiglioli.

Johnny Depp is also joined by Ewan McGregor, Olivia Munn, Jeff Goldblum, Paul Bettany, Aubrey Plaza, Oliver Platt and Ulrich Thomsen and completes a stellar cast. "Mortdecai" release date is set on January 23, 2015.

Fans of Johnny Depp are excited as the also award winning actor takes on another eclectic role in the upcoming "Mortdecai" film. He is known to take on unconventional characters and is most of the time able to successfully bring these characters into life, and make it relatable and appreciated by his audience. His latest masterpiece is his portrayal of The Wolf in the 2014 musical "Into the Woods".
