They're taking the relationship to the next step! It has been confirmed by a source that Sofia Vergara is officially engaged to her boyfriend of six months, Joe Manganiello. According to the source, the "True Blood" star proposed to the "Modern Family" star on Christmas day. "He wanted to do it in front of her family," the source said.
The 42-year-old model and actress showed off her very majestic new engagement ring while the couple was spotted celebrating both the holidays and Manganiello's 38th birthday in Hawaii on December 29.
In 1990, at the young age of 18, Vergara was married to her high school sweetheart, Joe Gonzalez. Two years after, she gave birth to their son named Manolo, in September 1992. However, they were divorced one year later.
On July 10, 2012, after dating on and off for a couple of years, it was confirmed that Vergara and her boyfriend Nick Loeb were engaged but after almost two years, the two split and their engagement was called off. Just two months after, on July 2014, sources confirmed that the mom of one began dating the "True Blood" actor.
"Sofia is Joe's dream girl!" a source revealed of Manganiello. "He's been smitten with her for years."
Clearly, their feelings for each other have become a mutual one. Ever since they stepped out in public together over the summer in New Orleans, the hot couple has been inseparable. Manganiello even celebrated Thanksgiving with his now fiancé and her family.

"Happy happy bday to my love and best friend. to the one that makes me laugh like crazy! have a wonderful year babe!!!", she captioned the pic.
