Mad Max: Fury Road Trailer Arrives, Tom Hardy Takes On Role Of Max Rockatansky; Director George Miller's Fourth Film Arrives On May 15, 2015

Next 2015 has been reported to break box office history with movies such as Avengers: Age of Ultron, Mission Impossible 5, and James Bond's latest flick "Spectre" to name a few. Fans and moviegoers will also be seeing movies rebooted in Jurassic World and Fantastic Four.

Mad Max: Fury Road, a reboot to director George Miller's original Mad Max, is the fourth film of the series and will star Tom Hardy of "The Dark Knight Rises" and "Inception" fame, replacing Mel Gibson as the main character Max Rockatansky. Starring opposite of Hardy is Charlize Theron. Nicholas Hoult and Zoe Kravitz, both from X Men:First Class and supermodel Rose Huntington-Whiteley are also joining the cast. Mel Gibson is reported to have a role in the film as a drifter.

Shooting on location at Namibia in 2012, Fury Road came across problems with the Namibian Cost Conservationist and Management group when they accused production of damaging parts of the Namib desert. This caused director Miller to reshoot some of the scenes in November of last year.

The movie has wrapped up with production with a budget estimated at $125 million.

Here is Fury Road's plot according to madmax.wikia.com:

Mad Max: Fury Road takes place shortly after Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome. It follows the further adventures of Max Rockatansky.

According to George Miller: "Mad Max is caught up with a group of people fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by the Imperator Furiosa. This movie is an account of the Road War which follows. It is based on the Word Burgers of the History Men and eyewitness accounts of those who survived."

Mad Max: Fury Road will hit theaters on May 1, 2015.
