The story of "Furious 7" continues from it's last installment "Fast & Furious 6" released in 2013, with the third installment "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift" (2006) allowing the addition of another stellar cast member. Jason Statham appears in "Furious 7" as the brother of "Fast & Furious 6" villain Owen Shaw, portrayed by Luke Evans.
In "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift" (2006), Sung Kang's Han Seoul-Oh is involved in a mid-race car accident, as an unknown driver crashes his vehicle into the street. "Furious 7" is said to take place in Tokyo, where they will rejoin Han's friend, Sean Boswell from "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift".
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Jason Statham shared his experience in filming "Furious 7". He said: "There's nothin' better than that car stuff. I've never seen anything to compare to it. And Vin is terrific. Everybody in it is just terrific. They're a great little crew... I've met all of them, and they're really cool."
