The highly anticipated first-person shooter hack-and-slash video game by Techland nears its 2015 release date however vague. Hellraid gameplay details and characters available so far revealed!
While the Hellraid's release date remains on a vague 2015, details continue to surface online including gameplay and characters. Techland has yet to confirm an exact release date. However, online speculations reveal that release date could be not earlier than Q3 2015 based on released details of the game and updates from creators.
In the released Hellraid gameplay trailer, fans were shown what to expect of the video game come its release date. Players will be able to go through the missions as a single player, or join a co-op with up to three more other players. Characters in Hellraid are highly customizable, with choices in weaponry and defense suit.
According to producer Marcin Kruczkiewicz in an interview with Game Cloud, "Hellraid is a first-person hack'n'slash that revolves around fighting through hordes of demonic invaders; either solo or with up to three co-op partners. With hundreds of thousands of randomly generated items and 100+ skills in a class-free skill system, Hellraid offers a chance to fine-tune your own, perfect demon slayer. If you have ever wondered how an old-school hack'n'slash would look through the eyes of your character, Hellraid is the perfect game for you."
Your character will be a demon slayer, and you will be able to "create your character and customize it with accessories, clothes, and armor elements looted from enemies or bought from blacksmiths," according to the video game's official site.
In Hellraid, you are also able to customize weapons with a wide range of items that allow different kinds of combat. There are also three modes of the game that will be available for all solo and multi-player or co-op. The story mode focuses on the journey of Ayden and his mission to uncovering the truth behind his family's secrets. The second is the mission mode where there are maps and other campaigns that will be revealed later on. And lastly, the arena mode which is basically a survival mode.
