Boston Pizza will introduce the first-ever eight-sided octagon-shaped pizza to celebrate the upcoming Ultimate Fighting Championship Pay-Per-View event in Calgary, Canada, on July 21 at 22 locations in the city's area.
The Octagon Pizza, said a press release issued by Boston Pizza International Inc. on Wednesday, will make its debut in time for Saturday's fight of UFC 149: Faber vs. Barao.
"At Boston Pizza we share in UFC fans' passion and love for the sport and wanted to demonstrate that by providing fans with an ultimate eating experience that they can't get anywhere else," Steve Silverstone, Executive Vice President of Marketing at Boston Pizza, said in a press release. The pizzas can be ordered on July 21 for the Pay-Per-View event for dining in at the Calgary restaurants, said the press release, and will also be available for future UFC Pay-Per-View events. The pizza will be available for future events at Boston Pizza stores across Canada, as well.

"Boston Pizza is giving fans the next best experience to being at the fight live and we're thrilled to have them as our partner in Canada."
