The last hurrah comes as ABC's "Cougar Town" final chapter, season 6, nears its January 6, 2015 release date, with star Courteney Cox directing the first episode titled "American Dream Plan B".
Running since 2009, the American sitcom "Cougar Town" created by Bill Lawrence and Kevin Biegel begins its final chapter, with a few twists and turns to the characters led by Courteney Cox's Jules Cobb.
Come "Cougar Town" season 6 release date, fans will finally see what happens to Laurie (played by Busy Phillips) and Travis' (Dan Byrd) relationship as Jules discovered Laurie's pregnancy during the last episode of "Cougar Town" season 5.
According to the official synopsis from ABC of "Cougar Town" season 6 "American Dream Plan B", the episode directed by Courteney Cox will be: "Jules agrees to stop drinking wine during Laurie's pregnancy, but the rest of the gang doesn't agree, so Tom opens up his garage as a speakeasy. Meanwhile, Grayson prepares Travis for fatherhood with the help of a baby pig."
"Cougar Town" season 6 will be running for 13 episodes, and the last episode has already been titled as "Mary Jane's Last Dance", and again will be directed by Courteney Cox according to reports. The last episode of "Cougar Town" season 6 leak was based on Busy Phillip's tweet early this month, showing the cover page of the script, that includes title, writer and director information.

Although "Cougar Town" season 6 episode 1 "American Dream Plan B" isn't the first directorial work of Courteney Cox in the series as her first behind-the-scenes involvement was during Season 3 in 2012 for episode 4 titled "Full Moon Forever", this might not be her last. "Just Before I Go" will be her directorial film debut to be released in March 13, 2015, starring Sean William Scott and includes ex-husband David Arquette.
