The Sony hack has caused mayhem in Hollywood studios all over. It has also leaked secrets about upcoming films. The new James Bond movie, “Spectre,” wasn’t spared in this incident. Emails between studio executives have been hacked, revealing quite a few details, including Christoph Waltz’s character dubbed as Oberhauser. According to the script that leaked, he is the head of the enemy’s organization.
“No. No. It’s more interesting than that,” the two-time Oscar Award winner said, as he addressed the script leak in an interview with Collider during his promo for the film Big Eyes.
There has been a history of actors involved in major Hollywood productions throwing off audiences for people to keep guessing; case in point, Jason Momoa whether or not he was starring as DC's Aquaman earlier in the year. So goes the same for Waltz is he will really portray whatever it is in the hacked email, its good to know that an actor of his caliber is part of "Spectre".
In the meantime, here's the official press statement for the movie from Columbia Pictures (via pep.ph):
"In the film, a cryptic message from Bond's past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organisation. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE."
Spectre has reportedly started filming in a number of locations, including Waltz’s home country, Vienna.
Daniel Craig reprises his role as James Bond. Naomie Harris, Ben Wishaw and Rory Kinnear also reprise their roles as MI6 agents Bond's support group. The movie will introduce two newcomers, Dave Bautista and Lea Seydoux. Monica Bellucci also joins the cast on the 24th movie of the series.
