The Chinese tech giant has amazingly revolutionized its flagships this year from its Honor series phones and P series. Huawei has wowed us with its new flagship, the Huawei Honor 6 Plus, that features a dual camera on its rear, and said to be superior that HTC One M8's duo camera.
In addition to its flagship, Huawei is rumored to be working on the development of Ascend P7 successor, the Huawei Ascend P8.
However, there is no confirmation from the Chinese manufacturer yet if the rumors are true. The rumored Huawei Ascend P8 is reportedly going to feature a 5.2-inch display with full HD resolution.
According to PhoneArena it will also feature a curved glass appearance like on the Apple iPhone 6. It will also be the first smartphone that will fetature Gorilla Corning 4. In comparison to its predecessor, the Huawei Ascend P7, it will be sporting a 5-inch IPS LCD full HD resolution and 441 ppi.
Speculations suggest that the Huawei Ascend P8 will house a powerful HiSlicon Kirin 930 chipset from Huawei and a 16 nm FinFET octa-core processor, however its clock speed is still unknown. It'll surely be more powerful as compared to its predecessor that is currently powered by HiSilicon Kirin 910T Cortex A9 quad- core processor that delivers a clocking speed of 1.8 GHz supported by a Mali - 450MP4 graphics and 2 GB RAM.
The upcoming Huawei Ascend P8 rumors have been making its round on the internet for quite some time now as series of photos leaked from Nowhereelse.fr.
The upcoming Huawei Ascend P8 will feature an alleged metal case chassis, as noted from GSM Arena.
The tech site also added that the photo also reveals a super thin frame, without giving out the exact measurements.
Moreover, judging from the carved holes it'll most likely to feature a single-LED flash and the Ascend P7 successor will feature two slot trays. Christian Post assumes that the first tray appears to be a holder for the primary SIM while the other one is either for a secondary SIM or for a microSD memory card.
The upcoming Huawei P8 is also speculated to make its first appearance at CES that will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada.
