Marvel is planning to dominate the superhero genre in cinemas with their long list of movies announced to be released up until 2020: Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Captain America 3: Civil War, Ant Man, Avengers Age of Ultron - the list goes on. A film not be missed is the demigod's third movie Thor 3: Ragnarok, as a lot of significant events have been reported to take place in the brand's third installment. Plot rumors include Thor's world Asgard getting destroyed, his brother Loki dies by his hand.
Other sources report that the mighty Thanos will make an appearance in "Ragnarok" following his debut in "Guradians of The Galaxy". He intends to get all the infinity gems, however, he also needs the Infinity Gauntlet to work and it is kept in Asgard.
Rumors say that this will lead the Avengers facing off with Thanos, most likely in Avengers: Infinity War. Josh Brolin of movies like "No Country For Old Men" and "Men In Black III" is playing the mad titan Thanos appearing in selected Marvel movies from 2016 to 2017.
"The fact that it's so, it's like, Yeah in 2016 and '17, what am I going to be doing? Oh, I'm going to be doing that, I'm very lucky in that way, man. I just get presented these things and I go wow, really? Why now and why this? The possibilities for Thanos are unlimited," said the actor in an interview with Nuke The Fridge.
Thor 3: Ragnarok is the second to the last movie before Avengers: Infinity War, reported to release in 2018.
Elsewhere, Natalie Portman won't be appearing in Ragnarok. Thor will however have a new love interest, Amora the Enchantress who is best described what Catwoman is to Batman.
Before Thor 3: Ragnarok which releases on July 28, 2017, the hammer-wielding hero will appear in 2015's Avengers: Age of Ultron starring Robert Downey Jr. reprising his role as Iron Man along with Chris Evans as Captain America and Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk. Joining them are S.H.I.E.L.D. operatives Black Widow played by Scarlett Johannson and Hawkeye played by Jeremy Renner. Completing the team are fellow agents Nick Fury played by Samuel L. Jackson and Agent Maria Hill played by Cobie Smulders. The Avengers must once again reassemble to defeat James Spader as Ultron, a rogue byproduct of Stark Industries, hell bent on destroying the human race.
