Looks like not everyone is celebrating the holidays. An unidentified man who was aboard American Airlines Flight 1140 from LaGuardia Airport, New York to Dallas was tossed out of the plane when he made a scene after flight attendees welcomed him with warm Christmas greetings.

The festive gate agent wished the man a Merry Christmas to which the man replied, “You shouldn't say that because not everyone celebrates Christmas.” The surprised personnel then said, ‘Well, what should I say then?’ the man angrily replied, 'don’t say, “Merry Christmas!”’ before brushing past her roughly.

Things got more heated when the man stepped inside the Boeing 737 where he was once again greeted with warm wishes for the holidays, the man then snapped and shouted “Don’t say Merry Christmas!”

He then began to berate the flight crew and even the pilots making a major scene. According to the New York Post, the staff from American Airlines tried to calm the passenger down and urged him to take his seat but he would not comply and was forced to be ushered off the plane causing the flight to be delayed for about 40 minutes. When the man was escorted out, a burst of cheers and applause resounded from the other passengers. The airline company has not yet commented on this situation.

American Airlines is a major airline in the United States with hubs including Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, John F. Kennedy International Airport (New York), Los Angeles International Airport, Miami International Airport and O'Hare International Airport (Chicago).
