WWE Star Kevin Nash and his 18-year old son, Tristen, were arrested last Wednesday, Christmas Eve, because of reports about physical domestic disturbance.

According to police information, it was just after midnight when they responded to a 911 call made from the regarding a physical domestic disturbance involving Kevin and his son. When police arrived at the scene, the WWE star told authorities that his teenaged son "arrived home intoxicated" and acted "disrespectful" and "belligerent" towards Tamara Nash, the boy’s mother.

When police officers asked Tristen of what exactly happened that night, he said that he and his dad got into a verbal argument first about him being intoxicated and his relationship issues with his girlfriend that later on led to a physical brawl.

He said his dad "took a hold of his throat with one hand" and grabbed his right shoulder with his other hand, then "forced him down to the ground by his upper chest, neck area and shoulder." He said his father held him down on the ground by his chest and put pressure on it, rendering him unable to breathe. He also told police that as he was taken to the floor, he struck his left elbow on it, causing a laceration, and "hit the back of his head" on the ground, adding that he "blacked out" for "a second or two."

Kevin and Tristen denied medical treatment and also refused to write a statement of the incident. Both of them face charges of misdemeanor first degree battery and will face a maximum sentence of one year in jail and a fine worth $1,000 if they are convicted. It was also said that the charges are over two separate incidents that occurred hours apart at the family's home in the coastal Wilbur-by-the-Sea community, near Daytona Beach. Because of this incident, Kevin Nash suspended from WWE for now. According to the franchise, the 55-year old wrestler is under a non-wrestling "legends" contract.
