The death of Sarah Lance (Caity Lotz) is pretty much the biggest case in the first half of the third season of Arrow. Lotz's character taking an arrow to the chest was the biggest shocker of the season and it was sad for many fans because it happened in the very first episode. Just when Sarah Lance is starting to get some love, she left. She was killed by Oliver's sister Thea (Will Holland). If you are a Sarah Lance fans, you will see her again. According to an Arrow Season 3 spoiler from TV Line, the sister of Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy) will appear again in 13th episode and it will be a 'cool' one.
"Showrunner Marc Guggenheim sums it up as "a really cool episode" in which Lotz appears as (of course) Sara and Peter Stormare (Prison Break) reprises his role as the villain Vertigo, which is a purposeful season-premiere callback. "It's an episode where a lot of things that we've been doing and setting up during the season really sort of come together," Guggenheim says of the intent to bring things "full circle." He adds, "It's not a 'climactic' kind of episode, but there's a feeling of a big payoff by the end of it," the website wrote as answer to a fan who asked for more Arrow Season 3 spoiler.
Before Arrow Season 3 episode 13, fans will see Laurel Lance transformation into Black Canary, a comics character some thought is for Sarah Lance. According to earlier Arrow Season 3 spoilers, introducing Laurel as the hero known for "Canary Cry" will span to three episodes, from 10th to 12th. This is while Oliver (Stephen Amell) is presumably dead after fighting Ra's al Ghul.
The Hollywood Reporter wrote quoting executive producer Andrew Kreisberg:
"Laurel appears in the Arrow episode. She's not as present in these episodes, but that is because we've been building up to her appearance as the Black Canary. We sort of said that Sara was the Canary, but Laurel is the Black Canary.
Episodes 10, 11 and 12 are a three-part trilogy that are about her. And episode 13 I think I can spoil, is called 'Canaries.' For fans of Laurel and for fans of Katie [Cassidy], they're going to get more than their fill after the winter break."
