Comedienne Rosie O’Donnell Called ‘7th Heaven’ Actor Stephen Collins Out About His Sexual Abuse In Her Free Verse Poem

| By

Rosie O'Donnell has always been outspoken about her feelings and has never been scared to share them publicly. And recently, she has a lot to say about Stephen Collins and she expressed these feelings through the poem that she currently wrote on her blog.

The 52-year-old co-host for The "View" called the "7th Heaven" actor out on December 23 for his recent admittance of sexual abuse. O'Donnell's poem that she wrote for the 67-year-old actor is entitled "U R NOT 2 BLAME", where it starts off with a few verses regarding the comedienne's friendship with the actor, and the latter verses then transitions to her addressing the controversy that has been surrounding Collins recently.

"they showed me the clip in the morning / 20 seconds / thats all i could watch / of his apology tour," she wrote, hinting to the recent ABC interview Collins had with Katie Couric.

"i was sure she was gonna do 2 him / what she did 2 sarah plain / hit him with his truth," she went on, referring to Couric. "right between the eyes / expose him for who he was / 'what newspapers do u read sarah?' / she saved us all then / this time / she didn't."

The free verse poem continues on to criticize the history of sexual abuse Collins has. "u are not equals / she was an innocent child / a baby girl / u have a daughter for gods sake," she said.

Afterward, the poem talks about O'Donnell's personal experience with sex and how that has influenced the way she sees her body. "sex is not fun / not now / not ever / it is married to a lingering terror," she wrote.

Her poem ends with numerous references to organizations that provide support and other resources to victims of all kinds of abuse and depression, followed by O'Donnell citing the lyrics of Joni Mitchell's "Not to Blame".
