Halle Berry Rushed to Hospital for Head Injury

Oscar winning actress Halle Berry was hospitalized in Los Angeles Tuesday night after being injured on the set of her new movie.

"Halle Berry suffered a minor head injury while shooting a fight sequence on the set of her film, 'The Hive.' She was taken to the hospital as a precaution, but she checked out healthy and was released. She'll continue production as planned,” said Berry’s rep, according to USA Today.

Last September, Berry, who is engaged to actor Olivier Martinez, broke her foot while walking in Majorca, Spain, during a day off from filming the movie "Cloud Atlas." The injury reportedly forced her to back out of an appearance at this year's Academy Awards.

Berry was reportedly taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Tuesday night, but O'Sullivan did not say where the actress was treated or when the accident occurred.

Berry has suffered several injuries on set before, including a broken arm while filming "Gothika" in 2003 and an eye injury while shooting "Die Another Day" the previous year. In 2004, she was hospitalized after being hit on the head with lighting equipment on the set of "Catwoman."

The 45-year old actress recently endured a nasty custody showdown with baby daddy Gabriel Aubry, before confirming her engagement to beau Olivier Martinez.
