Floyd Mayweather Jr vs Manny Pacquiao: One Boxer Thinks Fight Should Not Happen Because Pacman Is Using Enhancement Substance

| By

The Floyd Mayweather Jr vs Manny Pacquiao fight is close to happening, at least that is what the two players want people to think based on their interviews. Talks of the highly requested mega fight between two of this generations most popular boxers have intensified over the past weeks as both Mayweather and Pacquiao have expressed their eagerness to make it happen.

However, for another accomplished professional boxer, he thinks the Floyd Mayweather Jr vs Manny Pacquiao bout should not take place because one party is cheating. Italian-American boxer Paulie Malignaggi said that the Filipino fighter, a former eight-division champ, is onto some substance that makes him fight at top level.

"People always ask why I'm so biased against Manny Pacquiao. Well here's my personal opinion," said Maglinaggi who is currently an analyst with Showtime.

"If Manny Pacquiao was cheating, and we'll never know for sure. I believe that he was. I'm entitled to my belief and I have my reasons for believing that. If Manny Pacquiao was cheating, then in no way does he deserve one of the richest fights in boxing history."

The former WBA Welterweight Champion added that the Floyd Mayweather Jr vs Manny Pacquiao could have pushed through in 2010 if only the Filipino fighter agreed in his American rival's demand to undergo drug testing.

"Floyd would have fought Manny four years ago and would have beaten his a** if he had just agreed to take random drug testing," Malignaggi said.

"We all know how that went, and I personally think that's the reason why Manny was looking so strong at that time. I think now that they're doing the VADA random drug testing, Manny is still a good fighter but I just don't see the same kind of explosiveness."

Those are some pretty huge accusations righter. What do you think of Paulie's take on the Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao fight?
