After being kept away from his six-year-old daughter since wife Katie Holmes filed for divorce from him in late June, Tom Cruise headed to New York City this week and finally reconciled with his youngest child, Suri, reported People magazine.
Cruise and Suri were seen photographed on Tuesday while carrying his daughter into a hotel, noted People magazine. Someone who saw the pair on scene said that Cruise looked "really happy," said the report.
"He's been dying to see her," says a source of Cruise to People magazine.
Cruise, in addition to the divorce filing, has been away filming his next movie, "Oblivion," in Los Angeles and Iceland while Holmes kept Suri in their Manhattan home the entire time. Cruise, although they frequently talk through various means, like video chat and phone, has not seen his daughter since mid-June, noted People.
Holmes and Cruise have agreed that Suri will live in New York, with Holmes, but that Cruise can see her whenever he wants to, and as often as he would like, noted People. Cruise will spend several days with Suri in New York City, noted People.
"They both know they are going to have to make decisions together regarding Suri for many, many years," a source close to Cruise and Holmes told People magazine. "And they know she loves both her parents."
