Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard celebrates as they welcome a new addition to the family! The couple happily announced their exciting news on Twitter on December 19.
"Delta Bell Shepard is here. She doesn't look like either ? @IMKristenBell? or me, but we're gonna keep her anyway.?#christmascameearly?" Shepard posted.
The proud mom of now two also tweeted, "The estrogen has now hit critical mass! Good luck, @daxshepard1. And welcome to the world DELTA BELL SHEPARD :)"
It was confirmed last June that the happy couple were expecting again. A rep for the couple stated that, "The whole family is beyond excited."
During her "really easy" pregnancy experience, the 34-year-old mom ecstatically shared the developments of her first daughter of 20 months old, Lincoln. "She can sign now and she knows 40-50 signs! I can talk to her and she'll sign in three, four word sentences which is really amazing," the actress said in September. "She's the smartest baby ever!" she happily joked.
Bell, who also filmed adorable Samsung commercials with husband Shepard while she was pregnant, also blissfully talked about Lincoln at the This Party Saves Lives event in Los Angeles. "She's very interested in the shape of my belly. Very interested in offering it water and crackers and giving it smooches," she said in an interview. "She could just be mimicking what we're doing but I have a hunch she knows what's happening."
Bell and Shepard started dating in late 2007 and in January 2010, the couple announced their engagement. However, they both decided to postpone the marriage and wait until the state of California legalized same-sex marriage. The actors co-starred together in the 2012 film Hit and Run. After section 3 of the Defense of Marriage Act was passed on June of 2013, Bell asked Shepard to marry her via Twitter and the actor accepted. They tied the knot on October of the same year at the Beverly Hills County Clerk's Office.
