'The Bachelorette,' 2012 'The Men Tell All': Recap, What Emily Maynard Thought

| By

"The Bachelorette" is coming to an end, with just one episode left as the country waits to learn who Emily Maynard has chosen to marry. Last night was "The Men Tell All" and there were some revealing and funny moments.

We begin with Harrison leading Emily on a walk down memory lane where she reflects on the men and the times they shared - good and bad. She talks about Ryan's arrogance, Kalon's rudeness, Doug's social awkwardness, Chris' horrible dance moves, Arie's sneaky little brothers and Travis' obsession with the ostrich egg.

Afterwards, we get to see some never before seen scenes like Emily spilling wine on her dress and then saying, "Motherf---er! F---, y'all! I just spilled it all over my dress," she whines to someone off camera. "And I said the F-word in front of my date! I'm supposed to be a lady!" We then see Chris's really bad dancing in Charlotte during their private Luke Bryan concert in Charlotte. The segment ends with Emily promising to do the running man on After the Final Rose -- so at least those 90 seconds weren't completely for naught. Chris and Emily mull over the different events that have transpired so far before sending she is sent on her way, and he comes back on with the men.

Before the men share their side of the story, we saw an extended preview of the train-wreck-tastic Bachelor Pad, starring, among others, Blakely, Rachel, Lindzi and Jamie from the Ben Flajnik era and Chris, Kalon and Tony from this current season. With a $250,000 prize on the line, it's clear that this season of Pad will sink to new depths, as the always-intense Chris declares, "I will sweat. I will bleed. I will do whatever it takes to get the money."

Back to the studio and Harrison gets things started by inviting the guys to talk about their opening night jitters. "You kind of prepare yourself mentally and physically prior to meeting Emily and certainly these gentlemen," says Kalon, "and that certainly goes all out the window."

First up in the hot seat is Kalon, who tries to defend his pomposity and rudeness, claiming that his helicopter entrance was awesome, you serfs. "If anyone else arrived that way, I would've been genuinely interested to hear their story," he insists. Kalon, who said "Ricky (Emily's daughter) is baggage) doesn't regret anything he's said even though he thinks some of it was in jest. He thought about dropping out of the competition once he knew it was Emily, but he went ahead with it. He did, he failed, and we will see him next week on "Bachelor Pad."

When it Ryan's turn, he says that he wasn't totally interested in Emily. "It was never truly about Emily," he admits. "It was about me finding my wife; there's a big difference." Of course, Ryan is still open to becoming the next Bachelor, a desire that he made more than clear during his time on the show. He says that his thinking all along was, "if I'm there are the end, worst-case scenario is that maybe I have an opportunity to meet 25 ladies that would be a great fit for me." How sweet of him.

When Emily comes on stage to be interviewed, she quickly sets her sights on villain Kalon, who referred to her daughter Ricki as "baggage" during the group's trip to London. "I've always prided myself on being a good judge of character," she tells Harrison. "I didn't know what was wrong with me that I let someone like that through the cracks."

Kalon makes an attempt at an apology, but Emily's furrowed brow and smirk make it clear that she's not buying it. "You, my dear, should be a politician," she says in a scary/sweet way, "because that is the biggest load of (expletive) I've ever heard."

"I can't believe how fast this season has gone and there are only a few more days until the finale! I can't say thank you enough to all of you that have been so kind to me the past couple of weeks and have supported me. Be sure to tune in on Sunday for, by far, the best episode yet!" Emily wrote on her blog Tuesday morning.

At the end "The Bachelorette: Tell All" we have another look at next week Sunday's 3 hour big finale, where Emily will choose between Arie and Jef .
