Earlier Hannibal Season 3 spoilers have it that Gillian Anderson's Bedelia Du Maurier has been promoted into a series regular. The X-Files alum appeared in several episodes during the sophomore run of the NBC series as the friend and colleague of Mads Mikkelsen's Dr. Hannibal Lecter. Before that season ends, Dr. du Maurier was seen talking to a jailed Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) and whispered 'I believe you' in relation to the FBI profiler's claims that Hannibal is the killer they are looking for.
People thought Dr. Bedelia was on Will's side until the shocking season two finale scene wherein she was on a plane with Lecter who was escaping after stabbing Graham, Agent Jack Crawford (Laurence Fishburne) and Alana Bloom (Caroline Dhavernas). Dr. Bedelia is working with the cannibalistic psychopath and up to now, no one from the Will's team has an idea. That is something that the show will take on once Hannibal season 3 premieres.
Hannibal Season 3 production is ongoing in Europe where the show's first episodes will take place. Some photos of Gillian Anderson on the set of Hannibal surfaced online and by the looks of it, it seems that her life as a tourists in the Italian soil will be in full swing. Dr. Bedelia dons a turquoise fedora hat, a navy blue jacket and black boots. In earlier Hannibla Season 3 spoilers, it is revealed that Hannibal and Dr. Bedelia act as couples as Dr. Lecter prey on a new victim.

"The opening episode] will be all about Hannibal and Bedelia's fabulous new life in Europe - except it may not be so fabulous. Although the duo poses as husband and wife while Hannibal stalks a new victim, it won't be long before one of the locals discovers the murderous truth about Dr. Lecter. Even worse, I hear Bedelia could be the reason the cat gets out of the bag! How many betrayals must Hannibal suffer?!" showrunner Bryan Fuller said in an interview with TV Guide back in September.
