Rumors have sparked that "The Dark Knight Rises" actress and Oscar-nominee Anne Hathaway might be pregnant with her first child, said RadarOnline.
The story came about when Hathaway was spotted at a party swatting away alcohol, including glasses of champagne, said the online source. Additionally, an eyewitness claimed that Hathaway was at a dinner with fiancé Adam Shulman, and was seen having an enthusiastic party with them on Thursday, said RadarOnline.
"Not only did both Anne and Adam have their parents at dinner with them, which is unusual, but the amount of enthusiasm and excitement made it clear that they were celebrating some major news," an eyewitness told RadarOnline. "And while everyone else sipped on wine at dinner, Anne didn't drink any alcohol, which is an indication that she could be pregnant."
The party, where all guests were rather ecstatic, took place at Picholine on the Upper West Side of Manhattan in New York City, noted RadarOnline.
Hathaway and Shulman, who have been engaged since November, have not announced a wedding date. There is also currently no word or confirmation that the pair are indeed expecting their first child.
The rumor of Hathaway being pregnant and possibly having a baby bump counters recent claims that the actress became too thin, when she reportedly lost weight for the musical "Les Misérables," for which she also cut off her hair.
For now, Hathaway is in the midst of promotion for the third and final installment of Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight Rises," set for a July 20 release worldwide and in IMAX. Hathaway costars in the film as Catwoman alongside Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, and Marion Cotillard.
