On the 2014 Capcom Cup tournament, Capcom producer, Yoshinori Ono announces the newest face to see in Street Fighter 5, and what more will it bring.
Ono revealed the new character named Charlie Nash- Guile's long-lost best friend who originally appeared and is a fan-favorite character in Street Fighter Alpha, but judging by the reveal, it seem like it's an updated version of the character. The Charlie will debut alongside Street Fighter V exclusivity on PlayStation 4 and PC.
Furthermore, Ono confirmed during last PlayStation Experience event that Street Fighter 5 will also feature cross-platform play which allows users from both the PS4 and PC to battle against each other.
Ono originally appeared on stage dressed as Charlie to discuss Street Fighter V and to introduce the first live Street Fighter V match.
The Capcom Cup Ultra Street Fighter IV tournament in San Francisco, December 13, Saturday, marked the finale of the Capcom Pro Tour, which quarry sixteen of the world's best Street Fighter players against one another for over $36,000 and the title of the champion.
