Uma Thurman gave birth to her third child this weekend, said US Weekly: a new baby girl.
Thurman, who has two children with ex-husband Ethan Hawke, gave birth on Sunday, reported US Weekly. This is her first child with financier boyfriend Arpad Busson.
Apparently, there were no plans for Oscar-nominee Thurman to have children after her kids with Hawke, Maya, 13, and Levon, 10, noted US Weekly, and that the pregnancy came as a bit of a surprise.
"Uma was definitely not planning on having another kid. It was a surprise," a source told Us Weekly, which first broke new of Thurman's pregnancy back in February. "But she's over the moon about it, very excited."
Thurman had a baby shower nearly two months ago in New York City, noted US Weekly, which was thrown by her half-sister Taya. Those who attended included celebrities like her "Smash" costars Will Chase and Debra Messing, formally of "Will and Grace" fame. There was a baby pink elephant theme for the party, noted the magazine.
Thurman's former husband Hawke, from whom she divorced in 2004, has two children of his own with his second wife, Ryan, noted US Weekly. He has two young daughters, Clementine, 3, and Indiana, 11 months.
At the moment no further information has been revealed about Thurman's third child, including a name or weight, or even where the actress gave birth.
