Xiaomi Redmi 1s Successor Leaked? Unnamed Mid-range Phone From The Chinese Tech Firm Antutu Benchmark Revealed

| By

The Chinese tech firm is reported to be gearing up for another flagship and a mid-range phone, that will be unveiled next year.

An unnamed mid-ranger, presumably the Xiaomi Redmi 1s successor, has been confirmed by its Antutu benchmark.

Uber Gizmo reports that the alleged Xiaomi Redmi 1s successor, codenamed HM2014811, has already passed the AnTuTu benchmark.

The purported photo of its Antutu benchmark reveals that it sports a 4.7inch screen display with 720 x 1280 resolution and 312 ppi.

Under the hood, it'll be powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 clocked at 1.2GHz each of its four ARM Cortex-A53 cores, and supported by a 1GB of RAM.

Uber Gizmo also added that the upcoming Xiaomi phone will be shipped running in Anroid 4.4.4 Kitkat.

Based on this Antutu benchmark, we presume that this might be the Xiaomi Redmi 1s successor.

On the other hand, Xiaomi Mi5 is also reported to be unveiled at CES that will be held in Las Vegas and may finally enter the US market.

According to Tech Times, "News of Xiaomi's ambitions to break into the United States' mobile market arose on SlashGear, which cited Chinese-language news site the Economic Daily News. The report states that Xiaomi will make an appearance at the Consumer Electronics Show, Jan. 6-Jan. 9, in Las Vegas, debuting its $325 Mi5 -- to be clear, that's the phone's off-contract price."

Specs wise, the upcoming Xiaomi Mi5 might house a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor and Adreno 430 GPU and might sport a 5.7″ QHD (1440 x 2560) resolution screen and a 20.7MP Sony Exmor sensor that will cater for its rear camera.

It was also mentioned in some previous reports that the upcoming Xiaomi Mi5 will support a 4G LTE and a finger print scanner like most high-end phones feature nowadays.

We'll keep you updated about Xiaomi Redmi 1s successor and Mi5's release date in 2015. Stay tuned.
