Last month, Orphan Black season 3 released a very short video teaser featuring what could be cells splitting in multiples to the tune of the song 'You Don't Own Me' by Lesley Gore. If that alone has already made you super excited, what more with this new 32-second teaser.? On December 18, BBC America released a clip featuring Tatiana Maslany's clones, the young clone, and the male clone portrayed by Ari Millen. The video also revealed that the sci-fi drama will return next year on April 18.
'This is War' - the title of video says. It seems each clone has something to fight for in the next season of Orphan Black. Cosima said 'this is a fight for knowledge' while Sarah thinks it is war. Helena also spoke of what seems to be a foreign language while Allison warned that "those with power do not give it up easily" before the young clone and Ari Millen's clone character concluded that "they never have and they never will." The male clone then left a scary smirk before the video ended.
Just a day ago, Orphan Black Season 3 released a teaser photo featuring Sarah Manning talking face to face with one of the first known male clone. Show's co-creator Graeme Manson called it 'clone speed dating.' He also explained that that scene is shortly after the moments that took place in the finale of the second season.
According to earlier Orphan Black Season 3 spoilers, the show will take on the main clone's journey in the face of the arrival of male clones for the army being built by the Castor Corp. The trusts of the clones to each other will also be tested.
Aside from Tatiana Maslany, other actors that will reprise their roles are Jordan Gavaris as Felix, Maria Doyle Kennedy as Mrs. S, Dylan Bruce as Paul, Evelyn Brochu as Dr. Delphine, and more. Orphan Black Season 3 will also welcome new characters namely Justin Chatwin of Shameless, Ksenia Solo of Lost Girl, and The Tudors' James Frain.
