Shameless star is getting married! Emmy Rossum is apparently spotted donning a huge diamond ring on her finger! It set a wide media speculation that the actress is actually engaged. Although in Hollywood, we know that sometimes looks can be very deceiving and what we may see might not actually be the case.
On Tuesday, December 16, a natural makeup-free Rossum, who is currently 28 years of age, was seen shopping in New York City wearing the sparkling huge bling on her finger. The young actress was accompanied by her boyfriend, writer named Sam Esmail and the duo were seen visiting jewelry stores L'Etoile Royale and Fred Leighton. The couple seemed like they were getting the ring fitted to the actress.
But, according to the rep of the young actress, Rossum and her current beau 37-year-old Esmail are not actually getting married. Last June, the couple was first spotted out together when they both attended the premiere of the film Comet, which Esmail wrote and his girlfriend Rossum starred in at the Los Angeles Film Festival.
Just this October, the actress had opened up about her beau in an interview on Live! With Kelly & Michael.
The actress admitted, He's a bit of a nerd." She continued, "He doesn't know chivalry too well, so we have to bust his chops a little bit and tell him every time a woman stood up and went to the restroom, he had to stand up." Previously, Rossum was hitched to music executive Justin Siegel for two years, from 2008 to 2010.She shared to Cosmo, "I was so young, I don't think I knew what marriage meant. My parents were never married, and I was teased in school and called a bastard. So the idea of marriage as safety forever was idealized in my head, and we rushed into it."?
