Wow. Actor Jamie Dornan is indeed very particular on his role as Christian Grey on the upcoming erotic romantic film the Fifty Shades of Grey. Apparently, the hunky actor had visited a sex dungeon before the filming of the movie as a part of his research.
So the actor did not just jump the gun, get the job and started acting. He actually took a step up and educated himself on his role in the film. Before to taking on the role of billionaire Christian Grey in the film adaptation of E L James' wildly popular erotic novel, he paid a quick visit to a "sex dungeon" for a few lessons in S&M. According to the 32-year-old actor, "I went there, they offered me a beer, and they did...whatever they were into. I saw a dominant with one of his two submissives," the Once Upon a Time star had revealed to Elle UK on its February issue, which hits stands on January 2 next year.
The actor continued, "I was like: 'Come on, guys, I know I'm not paying for this, but I am expecting a show,'" he joked to the magazine. He added, "It was an interesting evening. Then going back to my wife and newborn baby afterwards...I had a long shower before touching either of them." The actor is married to his wife Amelia Warner and have a baby together, a daughter whom they welcomed on November 2013.
Good job to Dornan! But this isn't the only preparation he did for the role. He previously revealed to The Guardian earlier this year that he also had to become good at working with his hands. He said, "There are a couple of classic knots I know now, and I've put them to good use far too many times recently. In fact, I'd like to do a job where I don't have to tie women to beds."
