Mariah Carey Cries And Stops Her Performance of 'Hero' During Christmas Show

Looks like another meltdown from a diva!

Mariah Carey reportedly got emotional during the first of her six holiday concerts last Monday on December 15 while she was delivering a wild performance inside New York City's Beacon Theatre.

The singer went to the stage in a tight bejeweled red gown and sang her holiday hits which included "All I Want for Christmas" as well as "Here Comes Santa Claus." At one point, the songstress unexpectedly lost a shoe but still continued singing while clutching her heel in one hand and her gold microphone on the other.

Then, the singer sang her 1993 ballad called Hero which was one of her earlier hits decades ago. Tears started falling down her eyes when she sang that song. No one knows why she cried but there are speculations that she might be missing her relationship with her ex-husband Nick Cannon, given that it is the holiday season of love and festivities.

This is Carrey's first Christmas alone as a single mom. Just this past fall, it was announced that she split from her husband Cannon. She the composed herself after that and then her microphone pack fell off her glittery gown. She told the crowd, "Really?" and continued, "I'm sorry -- cut!" This was after an assistant had ducked out to help her with the momenta malfunction and afterwards, Carey picked up the song from where she left off.
The singer's latest show is after several weeks when she disappointed fans on December 2 and failed to show up to pre-tape her performance at the Rockefeller Center Tree Lighting ceremony. Afterwards, she also struggled to hit her special high notes during the actual live show. In the recent show, she was actually incredible according to those who watched her show. Hold on Mariah! We still love you no matter what.
