ABC hit TV series How to Get Away with Murder will return on January 29 next year. The legal drama will pick up from where it left off when it aired its mid-season finale on November 20. While the main cast is pretty much intact, HTGAWM will welcome a new cast member that Viola Davis who stars as Annalise Keating is very familiar with.
According to a report by the Entertainment Weekly's Inside TV, Academy Award winner Cicely Tyson will join the How To Get Away with Murder cast for a guest starring role whose details are yet to be revealed. Tyson once worked with Davis in American drama film 'The Help.'

The actress, who co-starred alongside Murder star Viola Davis in The Help, will appear in at least one episode during the freshman season, though details on her role are being kept under lock and key-which means it's time for you to hit the comments with your best guesses on who she's playing."
Cicely Tyson is not the only one joining the How to Get Away with Murder cast next year. According to previous reports, Marcia Gay Harden will also join the show for a recurring role. Harden is credited for her works on Trophy Wife. She will appear on the Fifty Shades of Grey film adaptation.
