Taylor Swift and Karlie Kloss are well-known BFFs in Hollywood, but recent reports speculate that their relationship moved on from platonic to romantic.
The tall beauties found themselves in the midst of a controversy last week when a supposed fan uploaded a video of the pair kissing each other during a concert by The 1975 in Los Angeles. The grainy video created such a buzz on social media that the Grammy winner herself had to address the absurd rumors.
"As my 25th birthday present from the media, I'd like for you to stop accusing all my friends of dating me. #thirsty," she tweeted about her supposed romantic relationship with the Victoria's Secret Angel.
However, the speculations continued, prompting a rep for the "Blank Space" singer to make a statement regarding the issue.
"Taylor remains happily single. It is disappointing that her one birthday request was ignored," Swift's representative said in the statement released through People Magazine a couple of days after the "Shake It Off" hitmaker posted her plea on Twitter.
It's a well-known fact that Taylor Swift and Karlie Kloss are very open about their close friendship, making some people speculate about their closeness. However, the supermodel isn't the only friend to be linked to the blonde beauty.
Swift was also rumored to have dated her other friends as well. British sensation Ed Sheeran has been "shipped" to the "Style" singer ever since they collaborated on "Everything Has Changed." Fan-approved or not, however, the "Thinking Out Loud" singer prefers the arms of his non-celebrity girlfriend, Athina Andrelos.
Kloss, on the other hand, is actually dating a very impressive man. Josh Kushner is a Harvard undergrad and Business School graduate. He's also a social gaming entrepreneur and venture capitalist, according to Bustle. He's has also been included in the "Forbes 30 Under 30" list.
They reportedly started seeing each other in 2012 and its he looks like he's making Kloss a very happy woman.
Do you think Taylor Swift and Karlie Kloss are too close for a normal friendship or (as Swift suggested) is the media just too hungry for some controversy?
