Just a few months ago iPhone 6 came on the market. However, upcoming new iPhone's rumor are beginning to spread. According to a report in the Telegraph, Apple started to work on a new iPhone of 4 inches in size. This phone will take place as a replacement for the entry-level iPhone 5c. The company will not bring any more iPhone 5c in market.
Mobile tech news website GSM Arena suggests that the new handset could be called the iPhone 6 Mini.
"The new 4-inch model aims to bring the iPhone back to its one-hand use roots and it is suggested will gain more popularity among women compared to the larger models," it said.
The handset will be launched during 2015, according to Chinese rumor site Feng.com, although there it's unknown if the new model would be a scaled-down luxury phone or continue to act as the entry-level iPhone to Apple's range.
Apple brought 4.7 inch sized iPhone 6 and 5.5 inch sized iPhone 6 Plus in market last September.
Market analysts thinking that by bringing this 4 inch sized phone Apple is planning to come back in the market of small sized mobile phone market.
Forbes's technology analyst Gordon Kelly wrote about this phone that One of the reasons can be the size would be ideal for parents' looking for a high quality handset for their children.
"Apple decides what is best for its customers" Kelly said, "Despite the success of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, there are a large number of grumbling iPhone owners who are not prepared to go bigger. Eventually time will force them to upgrade, but why force when you can have them joyfully snapping your hand off."
Apple could release this smartphone in market before September next year. Though, Apple could bring their first smart watch the Apple Watch before bring this phone. The Telegraph says that Apple Watch will be release in the spring next year.
