Do you often rely on Amazon for most of your online shopping tasks? If such is the case, then you probably have heard about one of its relatively new services known as the "Amazon Prime." Basically, this is similar to a "Premium" service wherein account holders are able to enjoy quite a few promos and deals that are exclusive to them and are not available to regular shoppers.
But are these worth the additional payment you have to shell out if you do decide to become a member?
Apparently, Amazon thinks so, and has actually upped the type of deals it is offering in the hopes of attracting more people.
According to Fool, one of the things that Amazon is doing to interest consumers in signing up for Prime is its Fire TV Stick, a video streamer that was launched just last October. For regular Amazon shoppers, it is being offered for $39. Prime subscribers can get their hands on the device for less than $20, bringing down the price at only $19.
This was then followed by the Echo Virtual Assistant, a few weeks after, with a huge discount of $100 from the regular price of $199 being offered to Prime members. There are plenty of other offers made by the company, such as the $200 discount on the TV from Vizio as well as pay-only-half deals on a variety of baby supplies.
The most recent promo that Amazon has launched for its Prime Subscribers is related to the streaming industry, as cited by Zacks.
Prime subscribers can now enjoy 4K/ Ultra HD resolution through the Amazon Instant Video for certain TV and movie titles. The highlight of the service is that its number of pixels is four times greater than the regular standard full HD, which means that viewers can enjoy really sharp, vivid, and clear images.
