Count Girolamo Riario (Blake Ritson) may be a ruthless villain but he has shown that he knows how to love. In one episode of the second season of Da Vinci's Demons. The main nemesis of Leonardo Da Vinci (Tom Riley) was crushed after Zita (Estella Daniels) died in his hands. Zita was the only one who understood him and did everything to allow Riario continue with his mission. Riario's vulnerability has become an intriguing aspect of the show and because this, fans ask, is there any spoiler about Riario's new love life before Da Vinci's Demons Season 3 release date happens?
In an interview at the Comic Con in Portugal, Ritson answered this question from a fan. However, his answer is something that fans will not like, especially those who are rooting for his own happiness. Looks like there is no love waiting for Riario in Da Vinci's Demons Season 3.
"So last year, Riaro's a heartbreaker. There's no getting around it. He shoved a sacrificial dagger through Zita his girlfriend's heart. So he's a bit miffed about that, about how that all played out. He's not looking for love (Da Vinci's Demons) season 3, but that's not to say that love doesn't come a-knocking," Ritson said as reported by KpopStarz.
Although there is a little chance he will find a new love interest in Da Vinci's Demons Season 3, Count Riario will be fixated in his crusade to change the world.
"This season, it's really morally complex," Ritson said in an interview with The Daily Quirk. "All the characters are put through the ringer. They're all knocked off their pedestal. There's no neat little barometer of good and evil anymore."
"Essentially, right from the beginning, (Riario's) considered himself to be this crusader for good. He's always wanted to essentially, save the world in his own kind of egotistical way. I think he's in a particularly dark place this year. He's in search of a new reason to live. He's in search for God to answer his pleas. It takes him into some pretty hairy situations. It gets messy."
