The first-time mom finally gave birth to a healthy baby girl last December 9, 2014. The little bundle of joy weighed in at 7 lbs., 14 oz., measured 20 inches and was given the gorgeous name ‘Kaya’.
In an interview for Glamour Magazine in 2013, Hayden shared her thoughts on the possibility of motherhood, "I've lived a very big life, and I don't feel my age, and I feel like I was born to be a mother. Sometimes people speak about [having kids] like, 'Your life ends—you're never going to be able to do anything again!' And I'm like, 'What are you talking about?'" she said. "Motherhood is the most beautiful, exciting thing, and there's nothing that I feel like I can't accomplish while having children in my life."
Panettiere, first announced that she was pregnant when she joined the ALS Bucket Challenge. ‘Nashville’ guest star Derek Hough took a video of it and posted it his social networking site. Panettiere was seen wearing a white shirt saying, "I accept my ALS Challenge, I renominate Kacey Musgraves — you're not getting out of this, Wladimir Klitschko, and my unborn child."
Derek then poured the bucket of cold water above Hayden to which the latter reacted, “Holy shhhh… yup, that’s cold. When Hough posted it on his Twitter and Instagram account he captioned it with, “Hayden shortly went into labor after this… Jus kiddin,” he said.
It was during the 2014 Emmy Awards when she debuted her baby bump on the red carpet donning a stunning and glamorous silver dress. The blonde beauty and her Ukrainian heavyweight boxer who is 38, got engaged last year after a three-year on/off romance.
