Keira Knightley is officially joining the Celebrity Moms group! The 29-year-old actress is expecting a baby with her husband, James Righton.
The British actress, who is currently married to Klaxons co-vocalist James Righton, has reportedly been avoiding alcoholic drinks, even chose not to go for the free-flowing champagne at the Moet British Independent Spirit Awards last December 7th.
Her choice of dresses was also not of the usual compared to the tight-fitting gowns she normally wears in the past. At the awards show, she was seen looking stunning in a pale shade of pink and blue dress with feather detailing, where her midsection was seen to be looking a bit fuller than usual.
Expecting a baby is not the only good thing that has recently happened to Knightley. A few days after the night of the Moet British Independent Spirit Awards happened, it was publicized that she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in the Screen Actors Guild Award for the role she played in The Imitation Game as a codebreaker opposite the movie's main actor, Benedict Cumberbatch.
However, the humble actress did not allow the Oscars award folly get to her head. On the same day of her announced nomination, she was spotted in London dressed in baggy jeans and what looked like to be a man's jumper, burrowed up in a sheepskin coat to fight the cold weather.
Knightley has previously talked about the desire to start her own family, but persisted that her work would still go on being important to her when she did have her own children. "Would I want to be a stay-at-home mother? No," she said in an interview back in 2013. "On the other hand, you should be allowed to do that, as should men, without being sneered at."
Knightley and Righton started seeing each other in late February of 2011, and became engaged in May 2012. A year after their engagement, they tied the knot at a modest and discreet ceremony in Mazan in the south of France.
