Kate Middleton has quite the saucy family - her burlesque-dancing distant cousin is getting ready to strip for Playboy.
Katrina Darling,21, will cover the magazine's September issue, a spokesperson for Hugh Hefner's iconic magazine confirms to The Insider that Darling will be on the cover of the September issue. The issue will be available on August 17 and she will be featured in an eight-page pictorial inside.
The British pin-up girl, whose stripping routines include "God Save The Queen," is ready to bare all.
Darling is Kate Middleton's second cousin but didn't even know about her relation to the Duchess of Cambridge until she was informed by the media just days before Kate Middleton wed Prince William in April 2011.
Darling said she has received plenty of negative media attention from her sudden raise to fame.
"I've been called God knows what in God knows how many languages. I try not to take the negative attention as a personal attack, I try not to pay attention. I try not try read the press too much, so I don't know what they're saying about me," she said.
In an interview with RumorFix.com, Darling said that she would probably be "awkward to meet Kate. I'm not sure what I would say in that sort of situation. But I'm sure we would find something to laugh about in it all...It would be nice to meet her, but I'm not actually going to pursue it."
Darling also pointed out some obvious differences between herself and the Duchess of Cambridge. When asked if she would consider dating Prince Harry, she said "I'm sure Prince Harry is an adorable guy, but I am a taken woman and Eton College men are not my cup of tea - too prestigious. I like my men rough around the edges!"
