World famous manufacturer Apple Computer Incorporated has taken some initiative on creating some workshops to teach free programming signals (code). Apple stores around the world are hosting free one-hour coding workshops.
This is the second year of worldwide organized 'Hour of Code', a global initiative aimed at demystifying coding for students in the hope they might consider pursuing education in computer science, according to IAN.
As part of this initiative, young people and students will be taught programming lessons and signal writing (coding). Non-profitable organization Code.org will organize a workshop from 8 to 14 December on 'Hour of Code'. The main objective of this year's program is to teach 10 million students, the basics of programming by sponsoring of Microsoft.
"We're thrilled to have Apple on board again this year, encouraging students around the world to explore the wonders of building technology," Hadi Partovi, co-founder of Code.org, said in a release. "The Hour of Code, we hope, will continue to spark a creative fire that students might otherwise never discover."
To sign up for an Hour of Code workshop check Apple.ca at online. This year Apple will organize free one-hour workshop. Apple's product purchasing shop Apple store will organize this workshops. . Apple will begin organize this workshops from December 11. But the programs will be held only in United States.
In last year's event more than 15 million students worldwide learned an hour of code. There are 65,640 Hour of Code events scheduled around the world, including 1,548 in Canada with many participating. Technology analysts welcomed this sort of initiatives. According to them, this events would be really successful if organizations like Apple will continue to take self-initiatives.
