HTC Desire 620 Release Date: The Newest Addition On The Desire Family Arrives In Europe Q1 Of 2015; Speculated To Surpass Other Affordable Flagships

HTC has added a new mid-range phone to its Desire family.

As per Phanroid, "HTC won't let Motorola have all the fun when it comes to introducing super affordable smartphones with respectable specs."

With Motorola's mid-range phones that offer decent features, HTC's new flagship will be a tough competitor and might follow the lead of its sibling the Desire 820.

Recently, the HTC Desire 620 before its release date has been churning in the rumor mill with its series of leaked photos.

Now, that it's official we've seen great specs and features packed in a mid-range phone and major upgrades compared to its predecessor the HTC Desire 610.

The HTC Desire sports a 5-inch 1280 x 720 HD Super LCD screen. Under the hood, it is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor clocked speed of 1.2GHz, and supported by 1GB of RAM . It features an 8GB of internal storage and expandable via a microSD up to 128GB.

It also boasts BoomSound speakers.

The HTC Desire 620 will be shipped running on Android 4.4.4 Kitkat and HTC Sense 6.0.

When it comes to its connectivity features the Desire 620 supports 4G and features Bluetooth 4.0, DLNA streaming, HTC Connect and NFC.

As HTC is known for its good camera features. It sports an 8-megapixel rear shooter and 5MP front snapper. Both cameras is said to feature the capability to capture 1080p video.

HTC has been successful with its flagships in Europe and it is anticipated that the new Desire 620 will be available in the said region Q1 of 2015.

According to Pocket Lint, "Three colours will be available through Carphone Warehouse, EE, O2 and Three from early 2015; white with a blue accent, grey with a light grey accent and gray with an orange accent. It will also hit other retailers around the same time, most likely SIM-free."
