Nicole Kidman has always been admired for her determination in life. The 47-year-old actress gave her cover story to Elle magazine recently.
Kidman told the magazine that she is "spontaneous". This was on her deciding to marry musician Keith urban just after less than a month together. She added, "I jump in." That's a big leap after all, marrying someone you barely know. But it turned out good for both of them. They look very much in love and happy with each other.
The Oscar winning actress continued, "I kind of like getting married and then getting to know each other. I know that it sounds incredibly strange, but to me, it's a more natural process."
The marriage of Kidman and hunky country singer Urban is now running at eight strong years. The couple tied the knot in their home country, Sydney, Australia back in June 2006. They have two kids together, a daughter named Sunday Rose who was born on July 2008 and a younger daughter named Faith Margaret who was born on December 2010.
Kidman is also a loving mother to two adopted children from her previous marriage to actor Tom Cruise.
The Moulin Rouge actress also revealed to Elle that currently, she is still enthusiastic about the idea of having more kids. "I had my last one at 43," the actress explained to the publication and continued, "My grandmother had her last at 49. Every month, I'm like, 'I hope I'm pregnant!'... I wish I was!"
Nicole Kidman is an Australian actress and a film producer. She rose to fame on her breakthrough role in the 1989 thriller Dead Calm. She also appeared in several films in the early 1990s but she came to worldwide recognition for her performances in movies such as Batman Forever in 1995.
She performed in the film musical Moulin Rouge in 2001 which earned her a second Golden Globe Award as well as her first Academy Award nomination for Best Actress. Kidman's great performance in the drama film The Hours in 2002 also received critical acclaim and earned her an Academy Award for Best Actress and also a Silver Bear for Best Actress at the Berlin International Festival.
