Details of the modern fantasy adventure multiplayer action RPG Shadow Realms have been unleashed online, revealing information on Bioware's almost-completed and highly anticipated video game including release date, plot, gameplay trailer, and character updates.
First and foremost, the release date for Shadow Realms has been set on a vague 2015. Initially announced in development during the 2014 San Diego Comic-Con, fans might not see Shadow Realms by at least the second half of 2015 (Q3 or Q4). Although nothing official yet has been announced by BioWare, a more specific release date will most likely be set after the alpha program has commenced. And with the sign-up form ongoing, normally a release date will soon be officially announced.
Upon the release date, fans will experience a modern fantasy action, story-driven episodic 4v1 online RPG. In Shadow Realms, the players will be able to choose sides: as the Heroes and play a character based on a Warlock, Cleric, Ranger, Wizard, Assassin, or Warrior, or as the anti-hero and play the Shadowlord character.
Shadow Realms is BioWare's masterpiece in merging the old with the new: combining age-old strategies on magic and RPG with modern day characters and settings. The plot of the multiplayer RPG revolves around heroes with magical powers who are pulled into a world of darkness and evil. The mission varies but lies on defending good in the face of evil and ultimately save the modern world from falling into darkness.
