Remedy's third-person shooter game Quantum Break gets a star-studded cast as actors from the "X-Men" and "Lord of the Rings" film series Shawn Ashmore and Dominic Monaghan, respectively, joins the time-bending ensemble.
Recent news reveals that Remedy Entertainment has commissioned actors A-list actors Shawn Ashmore and Dominic Monaghan into playing not only as voice talents but also as physical models for the characters in the upcoming video game, Quantum Break.
The new surfaced online as Remedy Entertainment tweeted on-set production of the both Ashmore and Monaghan while working on Quantum Break.
Which character will "X-Men" actor Shawn Ashmore and "The Lord of the Rings" actors Dominic Monaghan portray in the upcoming Quantum Break remains to be seen as Remedy Entertainment has yet to release this information.
Shawn Ashmore is known for his portrayal of Bobby Drake as known s the Iceman in the "X-Men" film series. He appeared in the 2000 "X-Men", and returned for the same character in "X-Men: The Last Stand" in 2006, as well as the latest installment in 2014 for "X-Men: Day's of Future Past". He was also involved in the 2006 X-Men The Official Game as the voice of Iceman.
Another addition to the Quantum Break's cast is Dominic Monaghan, who is known for another successful film series by renowned director Peter Jackson, "The Lord of the Rings". He portrayed one of the four hobbits, Meriadoc Brandybuch throughout the trilogy where he won numerous ensemble awards together with the other cast members. He also appeared in one of the "X-Men" films, specifically in "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" in 2009 as Chris Bradley, also known as Bolt where he received nomination for People's Choice Award for Favorite On-Screen Team.
Meanwhile, a demo walkthrough of Quantum Break has been unveiled to fans worldwide before the release date.
