How To Get Away With Murder Mocks Jesus And Christians And Full Of Sins Says One Million Moms Group

How to Get Away with Murder is one of the hottest shows this fall. The ABC drama, which stars Viola Davis as Annalise Keating, has received great reviews ever since its first episode. It also sets ratings record each episode that they air. While many are raving about the serial legal drama, a group of moms wants it kicked out because it is filled with sins and mocks Jesus and Christians.

One Million Moms, a non-profit group who aim is to "stop the exploitation of children", has started a campaign urging supermarket Kohl's to take down How to Get Away with Murder. The show is in hiatus after airing its winter finale on November 20 but it is currently airing its re-runs until it returns on January 29.

"This show (How to Get Away with Murder) is about more than murder and violence. There is a whole slew of sins in this series that the network calls entertainment," said One Million Moms on its post.

"This program has included assault and murder on several occasions, as well as graphic heteros-xual and homos-xual s-x scenes on a p-rn-graphic level, foul language, mockery of Jesus Christ and Christians, s-x with a minor (statutory r-pe), adultery and marital affairs. The advocacy group added that How to Get Away with Murder only pushes for casual sex to become acceptable and described the show was wicked with all the dark images, rotting corpse, and other gore being featured.

Last month, one of the casts defended the show's sex scenes saying they are necessary. Jack Falahee, who plays gay student assistant Connor Walsh, said that his intimate scenes with another guy are plot driven.

""Connor is trying to achieve things by having sex and not only that, but I think he's a creature of sexual appetite. I think he enjoys having sex and I think Pete's done a great job of creating a real character. People have sex - lots of sex - and I think Connor's one of those people," Falahee told Buzzfeed in an interview.

How to Get Away with Murder creator Peter Nowalk added that his show is no different compared to others that also do sex scenes.

"I've written for Grey's Anatomy, I've written for Scandal, and they're shows that depict a lot of sex. So nothing I've written here is any different. It's just the fact that it's two young gay men," Nowalk told Buzzfeed.
