In last night's episode of The Bachelorette, Emily Maynard took her final three men on dates to the beautiful island of Curacao for fantasy night week, where at the end, she sent one very heartbroken man home. Who was that? Read on to find out.
SPOILER ALERT: Events of July 9 episode follow
Rumors have already leaked as to who the final man is to propose to Emily - don't click if you don't want to find out. In tonight's episode, it was the final three fantasy dates this week, and we all know what that means - the couple gets to spend the night together after their date if they chose to.
Emily and her final three men, Arie, Jef and Sean, each went on a one-on-one date while in Curaçao and each had the option for an "overnight" card. Well only if Emily offered and her date expected.
Most of the men would readily accept an invitation from sweet Emily to spend the night in a beautifully decorated and romantic "fantasy suite" - all but one that is.
When it was Jef's turn to go on a one-on-one date with Emily, the couple went sailing together, where they laughed and made out. All was going well until it was dinner time and the "fantasy suite" envelope was brought out.
Jef, 27, politely declined Emily Maynard's invite to sleep over in the luxurious suite, leaving her completely surprised.
"It would be awesome to forgo our original rooms, but I completely respect that your daughter and my family and your family is going to be watching this," Jef said to Emily.
"There's a time and a place. I plan on spending every night with you in our own Fantasy Suite."
However, his choice won major brownie points in Emily's eyes, in which she rewarded him by go into the suite (a treehouse) anyways where they made out on the bed. She held back, even leaving her shoes on, and then called it a night. The two were clearly in love by this point.
When Emily went on dates with fellow contestants Sean Lowe and Arie Luyendyk, she also said she wanted to forgo their fantasy suites. She attributes this to being a mom and wants to be a good role model for her daughter, Ricky Bobby.
