Sorry ladies! Weeds star Hunter Parrish is off the single market and will be tying the knot with his girlfriend Kathryn Wahl. This is confirmed by a rep to Us Weekly.
The 27-year-old star is known for playing the character of Silas Botwin in Showtime's television series Weeds. He is also currently starring opposite actress Julianne Moore in Still Alice and also has a recurring role in the upcoming season of The Following.
The young actor had popped the question on Saturday, December 6. He happily shared a sweet snap of his soon-to-be bride on WhoSay the next day. There he showed off his new fiance's new jewelry with the caption, "...she didn't say no." His new fiancé also posted the photo on her Instagram as well and said in the caption, "I didn't say no."
Parrish has guest starred in several TV series, including CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Close to Home, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Summerland. He has also made an appearance in the films Sleepover, RV and The Good Wife.
Parrish also portrayed the role of the oldest Botwin son, Silas, in the Showtime original series Weeds which ran from 2005 to 2012.
Parrish is also musically inclined. On August 2008, Parrish had joined the cast of the Tony-Award-winning Broadway musical named Spring Awakening in the lead role of Melchior Gabor located at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre in New York City which received critical acclaim. Parrish stayed in the role until the Broadway show's closing on January 2009.
Parrish also appeared as a high-school basketball player in the 2009 film 17 Again with Zac Efron. From the years 2007 to 2009, he hosted a web talk show with some of his friends Kyle Sherman and Allison Tyler named Two Guys and a Girl.
On August 2011, it was announced that Parrish would be playing the role of Jesus in the upcoming Broadway revival of Godspell. He left the show on April 2012 to film the final season of Weeds.
