Hold on to your horses folks! There is no baby Clooney on the way. Amal Alamuddin denies reports that she is pregnant despite pictures of her looking to have a baby bump.
According to Us Weekly, Amal and hubby George denied reports on Monday, December 8, that they are currently expecting a baby together. The speculation started when the photos of Amal wearing a tiered black loose-fitting dress circulated this past weekend.
The newly wed and in-love couple were photographed leaving Hollywood hotspot Soho House after enjoying an evening out with some of their friends on Saturday, December 6. The lawyer looked very elegant and lovely as usual in a loose dress which she elegantly styles with a cream cape-style coat and topped off with a layered necklace.
The angle at which the photo was shot made Amal look pregnant. Emily Zanotti said on Twitter of Amal, "Whoa. Either Amal Clooney had one hell of a burrito for lunch or there's a baby Clooney on the way." Amal held her velvet berry clutch in front of her stomach which made it look even bigger.
And so, the couple released a statement immediately when their rep denied to Us Weekly on Monday that the couple were expecting their first child together. The rep said, "Amal Clooney is not pregnant."
The public has been ready to jump into speculations on the newly wed couple. Just this September, they were gain speculated to be expecting a baby when Amal stepped out in Lake Como, Italy, wearing a loose maxi dress. Of course, it gave the illusion of a baby bump which was exacerbated by windy conditions. Their rep again denied the claim.
We will all still be waiting for a baby Cloney soon. In their wedding more than a couple of months ago, Amal's dad joked at the reception, "Now, it's time for grandchildren!"
