British MP Nigel Mills Caught Playing The Addictive Candy Crush During A Committee Meeting; See Details Here

According to reports a British MP was caught playing Candy Crush on his iPad, but claims he is fully engaged on the discussion on the Commons Work and Pensions Committee last Monday.

In addition, The Sun published a photo of MP for Amber Valley in Derbyshire playing the addictive game Candy Crush.

Business Insider also added that,"The paper has a video of the "Candy Crush" session on its website."

He said he was fully engaged and asked questions that he thought were particularly important, but added that he would try not to play it in the

Mirror.co.uk also reported that the MP said last night:

"It was a long meeting on pension reforms, which is an important issue that I take very seriously."

"There was a bit of the meeting that I wasn't focusing on and I probably had a game or two. "I shouldn't do it but if you check the meeting I would say I was fully engaged in asking questions that I thought were particularly important in how we get the pensions issue right."

"I shall try not to do it in future."

Meanwhile, the incident is under investigation to find out who filmed the MP while playing on his iPad.

According to Mail Online, Commons rules state that: 'No one should photograph, film or sketch or have their voice recorded anywhere within the Parliamentary Estate without permission.

'Anyone who attempts to do so, or to market, publish or transmit such material will be referred to Black Rod or the Serjeant at Arms. This could prejudice their future admission to the Houses of Parliament.'

Mail One also added that, a foootage of the committee meeting has been released and shows a male and a female sitting behind the MP, but it is unclear yet if one of them was the source of the viral photo and video or not.
