Usher's 11-year-old stepson from a former marriage has reportedly been declared brain-dead after a boating accident.
The singer's stepson Kyle Glover has been declared brain dead after he and a 15-year-old gal pal were admitted to a hospital on Friday, TMZ reports.
The pair were floating on inner tubes in Georgia's Lake Lanier Friday when a Jet Ski struck the two youngsters.
Family friend Jeffrey S. Hubbard of Atlanta is under investigation for the Friday afternoon collision.
"Basically, a pontoon was pulling two juveniles on an inner tube, and the watercraft ran over the top of them," Sgt. Mike Burgamy with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources told The News.
He said two of his rangers witnessed what appeared to be a tragic accident.
"According to one of my rangers, the Jet Ski ran on top of them (kids)," said Sgt. Mike Burgamy, Lake Lanier Supervisor. Two Department of Natural Resource rangers saved the girl. Two local residents, Troy Morrow and Rob Jordan, rescued the boy, continued the report.
Foster has shared her reaction to the tragedy on Facebook and to radaronline.
"Kyle, You are strong.. You'll be saved I know it. I love you my baby. I need all #Prayers for my son! thanks you everybody!" Tameka wrote on her Facebook page.
"He's bad," she told radaronline exclusively about her son from her marriage to Ryan Glover.
E! Online reported that Usher chartered a jet so that Tameka could fly to be by her son's side. Kyle was air-lifted to Children's Healthcare at Egelston Hospital in Atlanta.
