ESPN Body Issue 2012 Features 27 Buff Athletes [PHOTOS]

The 2012 edition of the highly anticipated ESPN The Magazine's The Body Issue is set to hit newsstands on July 13. The magazine will highlight several Olympians this year and feature a total of 27 athletes.

The athletes will strike artistic poses to show the average person what a world-class athlete's physique really looks like.

According to the Bleacher Report, the magazine are arguably missing three names.

Women's tennis star, Maria Sharapova, former Kansas Jayhawks (now NBA) player, Thomas Robinson and MLB's Bryce Harper are missing from the ESPN 2012 Body Issue and "these three major names would provide an added boost to this issue's popularity," the report said.
