Cold Stone Creamery Menu Adds 10 New Flavors at Canada Stores

This Sunday will mark National Ice Cream Day around the world, and ice cream retailer Cold Stone Creamery in Canada will have 10 new special creations as part of its Provincial Signature Creations line,

Each of the creations will be made with real Canadian cream, said a press release issued by Cold Stone Creamery on Monday. The flavors will be available for a limited time at the 130 co-branded Tim Hortons stores across the North American nation.

"Canadians love ice cream and what better way to celebrate National Ice Cream Day than to enjoy a Signature Cold Stone Creamery Creation made with real Canadian dairy," Nick Javor, Senior Vice President, Cold Stone Creamery Canada, said for the press release. "By incorporating every day treats such as fruit, brownies, Oreo® cookies and nuts with our premium ice cream, our Provincial Signature Creations are sure to please every ice cream lover - regardless of which province you reside in."

The province of Newfoundland on the east coast of Canada will feature their "Cod"ton Candy Dandy creation, said the press release, which will contain sprinkles and gummy bears, topped with a whipped topping in a bright blue cotton candy ice cream base, said the press release. Nova Scotia's flavor will be the Blueberry "Scone'er," which will be of course loaded with blueberries the color of the North Atlantic Ocean, as well as a graham cracker pie crust and almonds.

Prince Edward Island's Provincial stores will have the Rocky Road to "Heaven-lea" full of almonds, chocolate chips, and smothered in fudge sauce, said the press release, to represent the island's red sandstone cliffs. New Brunswick's Cold Stone stores will have the Ploye Perfection, with pieces of yellow cake mixed into cake batter ice cream with a whipped topping and strawberries. Quebec's brand will be the La Poutine Gourmand, with French Vanilla ice cream and pecans, chocolate shavings smothered in caramel sauce, listed the press release.

Ontario's Berry Best will have brownies, Ontario strawberries and fudge sauce mixed in strawberry ice cream. Manitoba Red River Flare will feature strawberries as well, with bananas, whipped topping on top of strawberry ice cream.

Saskatchewan's Wheat King Coronation will have yellow cake chunks with cake batter ice cream, and topped with SKOR bar and swirled with caramel sauce. Alberta's Black Gold will contain Tim Hortons double double coffee ice cream with dark fudge, and a large layer of graham cracker pie crust and almonds. Finally, British Columbia's Rock Mountain Landslide will contain chocolate ice cream with a whipped topping¸as well as Oreo cookie pieces and chocolate chips.
