Upcoming Microsoft Lumia Phones 2015: Three High-End Flagships Expected To Debut Next Year; Will Sport An Improved PureView Camera Technology

Reports say that three new high-end upcoming Microsoft Lumia phones might be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in February 2015. These phones are reported to be Lumia 940, Lumia 1030 and Lumia 1090

Lumia 940

Though the Lumia 940 hasn't officially announced yet.

According to reports its spec sheet has leaked and revealed that it will sport the Windows 10 mobile OS, and Microsoft is rumored to upgrade its Lumia handsets to Windows 10 mobile late next year.

Microsoft Lumia 940 rumors suggest that it may sport a 5.0-inch screen with a full HD (1920 x 1080) display resolution. One of the first smartphone to sport a Gorilla Corning Glass 4, like on the rumored Huawei Ascend P8. It's also a full millimeter thinner than the Lumia 930 announced back in April. The Lumia 940 dimensions was also included in the spec sheet it measures 137 x 71 x 8.9 mm and weighs 149g

Lumia 1030

"If the rumor mill is to be believed, the Lumia 1030 (or whatever Microsoft decides to name it) will boast a 50MP camera, most probably of the PureView type. Apart from raising the ante in the megapixel count, the Lumia 1030 is also said to come with a physically-larger camera sensor, which is always welcome. In addition, the flash of the device is said to be not a xenon, but a 4th- gen short-pulse LED one," Phone Arena said in a report.

Other leaked specs of the Lumia 1030 include a 5-inch screen that will support a display resolution of 1,080 x 1,920 pixels and it will be powered by quad-core processor. The handset will be supported by a 2 GB of RAM and will be shipped on Windows Phone 8.1 OS.

Lumia 1090

The Lumia 1090 has been previously spotted on FCC in mid-October and the FCC files has revealed some specs of the upcoming Microsoft Lumia phone that include: dual-sim capabilities; 5in qHD screen with resolution of 960 x 540 pixels and the dimensions of 140.2 x 72.4 x 9.3mm.

"With GSM and 3G+ HSPA connectivity the RM-1090 runs Windows Phone 8.1 and the camera at the back is joined by an LED flash," GSMArena claims.
